Mr. Friday Omeribe is the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO. A graduate of Lagos State Polytechnic in Secretarial Administration. He has worked in several reputable organizations before joining Azimuth Shipping Lines Limited. Between 1993 – May, 1996 he worked with Britek Engineering Co. Limited, Ikoyi Lagos as the Secretary/PA to the Managing Director.
He left at the end of May, 1996 to join Nathole Petroleum Limited as a Trader in petroleum products as well as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. While at AL-Dawood Shipping Lines Limited, between September 1998 to June 2006, he worked as Bunker Trader with the company, a position he held for 8 years. From July, 2006 – February, 2007 he worked as a Senior Manager (Operations) with Highpoint Global Resources Limited. In his quest to establish himself in the shipping company, he joined Pokat Nigeria Limited (Ship-owners, charterers and Managers) in March, 2008 as a Bunker/Cargo Trader. While at Pokat Nigeria Limited he also acted as the Admin/Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.
Now with Azimuth Shipping Lines/Delakes Oil Trading Limited he is responsible for the bunker enquiries and nominations from our national and international clients, ensuring efficient loading and discharge of cargoes by all the company’s fleet of vessels and assisting the Managing Director in all other areas. He has attended several courses on bunkering activities and Management in Nigeria, United Kingdom and South Africa. Mr. Omeribe is happily married with children.
