Shipping: In the past the indigenous ship-owners were denied the opportunity of lifting petroleum products using their vessels. Reasons adduced at that time included lack of material, financial and human capacities, lack of seaworthy and well maintained vessels, non-membership of Classification Societies and P & I Clubs. The foreign vessels had it all in connivance with some of the Nigerian Agencies. All that is now in the past as Nigerian ship-owners have taken their rightful position.
For over 10 years AZIMUTH and DELAKES have been in this industry we have competed favourably with the foreign vessels. Our vessel are double hull, classed and under the membership of reputable P & I Clubs. They are well maintained and manned by professional officers and crew. Spares are sourced from Europe and United States of America.
We have Two (2) tanker vessel in our fleet at the moment:
- MT OLUAWSEUN was recently dry-docked at NIGERDOCK Shipyard Lagos and has continued to perform extremely very well.
- MT AYODEJI was recently added to the fleet in the year 2018.
