Ayodeji Israel Martins is an accomplished Associate in Deloitte’s Economic Advisory team, where he specializes in strategic consulting and financial advisory services. With a robust background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in operations management, Ayodeji brings a unique blend of analytical skills and practical experience to the table.

At Deloitte, Ayodeji playes a pivotal role in liaising with clients to define strategic objectives and develop actionable business plans. He is adept at preparing comprehensive feasibility studies, business plans, and market assessments across diverse industries, including media, agriculture, and oil and gas. His expertise in primary research and market analysis enables him to deliver insights that drive sustainable business growth.

Prior to his current role, Ayodeji served as the Head of Operations at Azimuth Shipping Lines, where he successfully managed local procurements and logistics for the company’s fleet. He demonstrated exceptional leadership by reducing operational expenses through strategic vendor relationships and led negotiations with the Nigerian Merchant Navy Union on behalf of management.

Ayodeji holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Warwick, where he graduated with Second Class, Upper Division honors. Outside of his professional career, Ayodeji is passionate about education and youth development. As the Operations Leader for Youth in Diaspora, he leads initiatives to improve educational opportunities for underprivileged children in Lagos.
